Demo Cancelled

Apparently the big O will not be gracing us with his presence at all in the near future.

So the demo is off.

There is talk of a visit in June instead. If it happens, we’ll organise a protest then.

Trip Delayed

As you might have already heard, Obama will be gracing us with his presence a little later than originally planned.

At the moment it sounds like he will address parliament on Friday the 26th of March in the afternoon sometime.

Check back here for details once we know the exact time.

Protest Called

We’re planning a protest on the 23rd of March when Obama visits Canberra. Check back here for more details (including the time of the rally) once we know more about his schedule.

The next organising meeting is at 6pm Tuesday the 16th of March, in the foyer of the Chifley library at the ANU.

Demands will include US and Australian troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq.
